Bonnie Delores Nickerson, 75, of Muskogee, died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Norman Regional Medical Center, Norman Oklahoma.

She was born December 3, 1932 in Foyil, Rogers County, Oklahoma to Paul E. and Bonnie Sarah (Davis) Ogle. Delores worked for the Veterans Administration as a Medical Administration Assistant. [Bonnies residense was Muskogee, OK. (75 years 5 months 12 days)] 

She was a member of the Audubon Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy. Delores was a devout Christian and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She loved researching her family history and wrote articles concerning genealogy in the Muskogee Phoenix. Delores also loved gardening and quilting.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, David Vanschuyver. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nila and Jimmy Ross, of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Stephanie Lawler and her husband, Josh, of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kim Monse, of Norman, Oklahoma and William Doherty of El Reno, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Jarreth Mooneyham, Holly Mooneyham, Hailey Lawler, Nick Monse, Dalton Monse, Ariel Monse, Kasha Vanschuyver, and Eddie Pickens; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Renate Ogle of Jacksonville, Florida; nieces, Lola Walker and Linda Mondshine; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Fosters Ivory Chapel with Rev. Rodney Durr officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
